（中央社記者曾盈瑜台北21日電）中國國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱今天對美國前副總統奎爾（Dan Quayle）表示，兩岸議題將是她與民主進步黨總統參選人蔡英文最大不同。
美國前副總統奎爾（Dan Quayle）下午到立法院拜會洪秀柱，雙方會談約40分鐘。洪秀柱辦公室晚間發出新聞稿指出，洪秀柱和奎爾就兩岸、國際經濟，以及總統大選等議題進行意見交換。洪秀柱最後致贈響杯、畫作等富有台灣特色的禮物給與會來賓。
新聞稿指出，洪秀柱在會談一開始先感謝奎爾於擔任眾議員任內時，除投票支持台灣關係法，更協助該法重要內容制定，可說是台灣的堅定支持者。
洪秀柱表示，希望奎爾在未來台美關係上也能夠一起努力。她表示，台美關係自馬總統上任迄今可說是最好的階段，中華民國是美國免簽計畫的第7個亞洲國家，也是唯一一個沒有邦交關係的免簽國。
奎爾在會中詢問洪秀柱跟蔡英文有什麼不同？洪秀柱說，第一個不同是出身、成長背景不同，因此她比蔡英文更了解基層的辛苦，以及民眾的需求。
洪秀柱指出，在公共政策上，對手陣營並未公布太多，所以無從評論；但在兩岸政策上，雙方卻是完全不同的。
洪秀柱表示，民進黨黨綱明列「台灣獨立」，但蔡英文到目前為止仍無法說明清楚，或是對台獨黨綱表達明確的立場。洪秀柱認為，兩岸的議題將是她與蔡英文之間最大的不同。
洪秀柱說，這些問題和台灣人民的和平、安全有著密切的關係，「我想我們兩個人在未來辯論時，會要求對方說清楚、講明白」。
洪秀柱說，雖然目前蔡英文聲勢較高，但從過去美國總統選舉的經驗可以得知，例如柯林頓和歐巴馬都是後來居上。1040721
